Synopsis: After losing his father, Ben is sent to his grandparents for the summer. Haunted by grief and his grandfather’s slipping memory, he uncovers a decaying lab, a mysterious girl, and what appears to be a cure for dementia. As life suddenly becomes perfect, ghostly warnings and fractured realities begin to appear. Inspired by my experience with a parent’s chronic illness, Fading Memories is a visually rich story about grief, memory, and the courage it takes to let go of what’s lost—and hold on to what remains.
