Synopsis: Inspired by my experience as a teenager navigating a parent’s chronic illness, Fading memories is a story that follows Ben, a 15-year-old boy, grieving his parents' divorce and his grandfather's fading memory due to dementia. After discovering a forgotten VR system in a quiet mountain town, he finds everything he longs for: reunited parents, a healed grandfather, and even a love interest. But to reclaim his real life before it fades forever, Ben must confront the seductive comfort of illusion and the heartbreak of letting go.
